After months of hype surrounding this night, both BJ Penn and Jens Pulver look to battle it out in a rematch from five years ago

The season finale of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) looks to bring all the action, as coaches for the fifth season, BJ Penn and Jens Pulver, look to earn a victory and a potential title shot in the Lightweight division, tomorrow night.

Jens Pulver vs. BJ Penn- The rematch

UFC fans have waited for this rematch for sometime now. The two last met in 2002 at UFC 35, with Pulver coming out on top.

“Little Evil” Pulver was a force to be reckoned with in the Lightweight division many years ago, defeating the likes of Caol Uno, Dennis Hallman and more. He came back to the UFC in September, losing to season five TUF semifinalist Joe Lauzon.

Penn made a bump up to the 170 lbs. division and defeated Matt Hughes to win the UFC Welterweight title, in 2004. Afterwards he left and vacated the title.

Penn has been on a bit of a losing streak as of lately, losing his last two UFC bouts to Georges St. Pierre and Matt Hughes.

These fighters have built an amazing legacy in the UFC and this bout will certainly be a classic.

Nate Diaz vs. Manny Gamburyan- Lightweight Final

These are truly the two best fighters that fought this season on TUF. Gamburyan was a bit of a surprise that nobody saw coming, even UFC President Dana White acknowledged that he underestimated Gamburyan.

The man everybody knows as Karo Parisyan’s cousin, defeated Noah Thomas, Matt Wiman and Joe Lauzon to reach this point.

Nate Diaz, the younger brother of Nick Diaz defeated Rob Emerson, Corey Hill and Gray Maynard.

This much can be said, both of these guys can fight and this should be a great match.

Roger Huerta vs. Doug Evans

Huerta has been one of the hottest Lightweight stars in the UFC as of lately. He’s 3-0 in his UFC career, recently defeating Leonard Garcia in what many considered to be a classic bout, at UFC 69.

Not only that, but he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated, last month.

Standing in his way is Doug Evans, who is making his UFC debut. Evans is 6-0 in his MMA career and a victory over Huerta would surely propel this fighter into the spotlight.

Speaking of Garcia, he’s on the fight card as well, taking on TUF five fighter, the “Monstah” himself, Allen Berube

In Middleweight action, Thales Leites takes on Floyd Sword, who is also making his UFC debut.

TUF fans will get to see some great fighters from this season, as well. Brandon Melendez will take on TUF semifinalist, Joe Lauzon.

Andy Wang will face Cole Miller, Gray Maynard faces Rob Emerson and Brian Geraghty gets Matt Wiman.

The Ultimate Fighter Five Finale takes place this Saturday, June 23 at the Pearl in Nevada. Fans can see the matches on Spike TV at 9 pm ET.
